Quarterly Finance Meeting: Maidstone, Kent – Able Canopies Limited
We recently helped the owner of, Able Canopies Limited, based in Maidstone, Kent who needed help to manage his business from afar. They chose our Financial Controller Service which allowed us to get more involved with the business.
When Mark Wood wanted to hand over the reins of his award-winning, Essex based business, to his Managers he wanted to ensure he kept financial control even though he wouldn’t have control over the day to day operations.
Our Financial Controller service includes attendance at a quarterly Board meeting and was perfect to allow him to get a health check on the state of the business once a quarter.
One we have implemented Xero and provided training and Managemen accounting guidance to his Finance Department we were able to keep an eye on the business, produce a Quarterly Management Pack including independent commentary and attend the Board MEeting to present our findings.
This included setting and monitoring a Budgeted / Forecast Profit and Loss and reporting on how the business was doing against the budget.
I was moving to Kent to focus on new business but wanted to stay on top of the finances of my old one. Accsys stepped in with a fantastic solution Xero combined with Quartey meetings helped give me peace of mind nothing would come along and cause me problems. On a day to day basis, Julie and Will are a pleasure to deal with.
